This course is ideal for individuals who desire to leave – or have just left – their employee status to live on their own terms by creating their business from scratch. They want to live with intention, according to their own values, and make a meaningful impact on others.
Objective of the course
At the end of this programme, you will have formulated a clear first product/ service proposal concept that reflects your values, strengths, experience, passions, the market and, of course, what your ideal client truly needs (as opposed to what you or they think they need). Thus, you will have put in place the essential initial building blocks to your new business.

Diving into detail about all aspects of your desired lifestyle, be it professional, personal, geographical, etc., eliminating all real or imagined constraints. This is the necessary foundation to build anything on and deserves deep reflection and often some mindset work to achieve clarity. It is then – and only then – that you can move on.

Your unique zone of genius
2/ Your unique zone of genius
Getting crystal clear about not only your experience and expertise, but also about what naturally lights you up, your passions and what has always come easily to you. This does not necessarily need to be (and often is not) what you have been doing in your past / current corporate job. Entrepreneurship is a marathon, not a sprint. In order for you to thrive and keep going over the long haul in business, you need to do what you love and are great at. This will guide you towards the most relevant type of services / products to offer in your new business venture.

Elaboration of your professional and personal missions. Ideally, both your professional and personal missions are identical, enabling your new business to be fully aligned with your desired lifestyle, motto and future messaging. This will be the thread weaving through all your future interactions with your (potential) clients and stake-holders, and an essential foundation to all your branding, marketing and communications.

Getting clear not only about who to target – but also knowing and regularly actively checking in about what your ideal client truly needs (versus what you or they think they need) – will enable you to steer your future marketing and communications strategy to optimise your business results.

Today, intentional social media presence is a must for any kind of business. Knowing how to navigate it and consistently use it with the appropriate messaging to build a trusted audience are key to any business’ success. The power of authenticity in your messaging is all the more important in the current environment that increasingly integrates artificial intelligence (AI). Learning to optimise and save time with AI whilst fully letting your own unique voice shine is key. Remember: your own true authentic voice reflecting who you are as a human (as opposed to a robot) is your currency in business!

Looking into your own context, as well as the external (i.e. market) conditions, the various business set-up possibilities, as well as engaging an expansive mindset, elaboration of your first business offer concept that reflects the deep, structured work and progress you have made until now. You now have the foundation and key to your new business, upon which you shall build!

Each module contains a detailed text and a video guiding you to do the work to achieve the results.
The Go from Employee to Independent course contains over 75 minutes of video in total. You shall have access to the course material for one year.
